I used a v pillow while nursing, especially at the newborn stage. I found it comfortable for both me and the baby. My Baby was able to lay at the correct height for feeding with little support from me. No more tired arms at the end of feeding!! I took it with me everywhere I went, knowing that I could sit anywhere to nurse. I would encourage any nursing mother to give it a try and see how your nursing experience can become easier and more rewarding.
